These terms and conditions form your contract with Private Travel Iceland. Please read them carefully before confirming your journey.
By making a booking with PTI, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.
(i) Bookings must be made in writing. To secure your booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost (or as advised by PTI). Please note that some of our holidays may have stricter payment deadlines and, in these cases, a separate schedule will be outlined in your booking offer.
(ii) For all bookings made within 60 days prior to departure, full payment is due at the time of booking. Payment can be made by bank transfer and the bank details are listed on your invoice.
(i) Amendments by yourself: PTI will make every effort to meet your wishes should you wish to alter your arrangements, but this may not always be possible. Any requests for changes must be made in writing by the person who made the booking.
(ii) Cancellation by yourself: All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges are applied based on the number of days prior to departure on which the cancellation is received by PTI.
Your itinerary may change as a result of local conditions (including, but not limited to, weather, road closures or public safety considerations). PTI and our suppliers reserve the right to make such changes where necessary in the interests of safety or operational feasibility.
PTI is not liable for delays, changes or cancellations arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disasters, industrial action or the actions of local authorities.
PTI will exercise all reasonable care in selecting local partners and providers. However, we act as an agent for independent suppliers and cannot accept liability for their acts or omissions where they are operating within the scope of their own terms.
Your holiday includes only the services that are itemised in your confirmed itinerary. Optional excursions, meals, beverages, gratuities and personal expenses are not included unless explicitly stated.
Payments are normally made by bank transfer in EUR (or as otherwise agreed in writing). Bank details are listed on your invoice. Any additional bank charges must be covered by the client.
